Wow, look at Pumpkin!

October 29th, 2008

As you can see, Pumpkin is doing great in his foster home! Thanks so much to Judy Chapman for fostering him, and for allowing me to post these adorable pics that she has taken. He’s ready to go to his adoptive home in NYC as soon as we can arrange transport. Yay, Pumpkin!

And yay to all of you who supported him. He wouldn’t be lounging on a couch with his friends today if it wasn’t for each and every one of you!

It does my heart good to see Pumpkin looking no ‘normal’ and not the frightened and damaged little guy he was. GO PUMPKIN and thank you to Dawn and everyone at Ashtabula for helping. I could just cry with pride at you all.!!!!

This is such an inspirational story. Thank you so much, Dawn and Ashtabula, for your amazing work on Pumpkin’s behalf. It’s been such a blessing for me to follow this story and share it with my family and friends. For a cynic like me, this is a game changer, in a lot of ways.

    With great admiration and appreciation,

    Dana and Sabrina

    About

After years of soul-crushing corporate employment I moved to the country to start an animal rescue with my husband. Now I spend my days cleaning up poop, trying to find homes for animals in need, and making things, which I sell to support my rescue efforts. When I'm not in the doldrums of a depression I realize that I am very lucky indeed :)
